Birth Day!

Around midnight on Friday night, Feburary 27 mommy started to have contractions. They were too far apart to go to the hospital. Around 2 am they got closer so mommy called the hospital, daddy got ready and we called Grandma and Grandpa Moulton and they got ready. The hospital told mommy to take a bath and see what happens to the contractions. After the bath they went back to being longer apart so we had to stay home. Mommy tried to go back to sleep but kept having contractions and finally around 7 mommy and daddy got ready for the weekly doctors appointment. First they had to drop off the dogs with Grandma Moulton in the Lowe's parking lot. Mommy couldn't talk to anyone because the contractions were too strong. Mommy and daddy finally got to the hospital at 9 and had to wait until 9:45 to see Carole Inglis (mommy's midwife/doctor). When they finally got in Carole checked mommy and saw she was already 6 cm dialated and told mommy she needs to get over to the hospital because she was going to have a baby today! Mommy and daddy were so excited!! They walked right next door to the hospital (stopping a lot for mommy's contractions). They finally got checked in to the hopstial and mommy layed down around 10:30. When the delivery doctor checked mommy she was already 8 cm dialated, which was too late for mommy to get an epiduarl. Wow was everyone suprised!! There were many visitors waiting for me to arrive. Grandma and Grandpa Moulton, Grandma and Grandpa Haynes, Uncle Corey, Nicole, Great-Grandma and Auntie Em were all in the waiting room. There were many mommies having babies on this day so the doctors and nurses were very busy. Heather was mommies nurse who was wonderful!! After mommy was hooked up with everything she was finally ready to push me out at 12:30. Everything was going very fast!! After pushing for about 45 minutes I arrived to the world at 1:21 pm crying loud because I didn't like the bright lights! I weighed 7.7 lbs and 21.25 inches long. Which was crazy because mommy and daddy were married on 7/7/07! When the doctors put me on mommy's chest mommy and daddy were so excited to finally see me. I was born with some fluid in my lungs so they had to take me up to the nursery to clean me up. Daddy went with me to the nursery while they helped mommy. Grandma and Grandpa Haynes kept an eye on my while I was in the nursery. We were finally all reunited in our room 345 at 3:30 pm. I was all wrapped up in my blanket and ready to eat! We had many visitors that night. Brittany and Travis, Kara and Pat, Sha and Chris, Aunt Abby Uncle Ken, and Andrea were all excited to see me. After our visitors left we were ready for our first night as a family. I slept every couple of hours and then woke up to eat. Poor daddy had to sleep on a fold out chair (he didn't like this too much). Mommy and daddy were very excited to have me in their arms!
