Father's Day

For a Father's Day gift I took Alexis to Art Attack, which is a place where you pick from a variety of pottery pieces to paint and then they fire it for you. Alexis picked a coffee mug for Daddy and Papa. She picked out the colors for the mug by herself and got right to work. She had a blast! She kept saying "Paint for Daddy and Papa." After she was all done painting she wanted to take them home so I had to explain to her they had to keep it for a couple of days and then we will come back to pick it up. Below is the final product!! Daddy and Papa sure loved their gifts. We will for sure be going back in the near future to paint more pieces.

Check out my paint brush.

I love my family!! So blessed!!

My dad is such a wonderful man!! I have learned so much from him. I don't know where I would be without him in my life! And now he is an awesome Papa!

Alexis truly loves her Papa. She talks about him all the time. So blessed she gets to spend so much time with him.

We had such an amazing Father's Day. We started off with breakfast at Weck's. Matt loves the Papa's dish so we thought we would take him there so he could enjoy some yummy food. We met Grandma, Papa, and Uncle Corey at Weck's. After breakfast we headed to the zoo for a few hours. Alexis really got into seeing all the animals. After we would look at a certain animal for a few minutes she kept saying "More animals, more animals" while pulling our hands to move on to another animal. She was seriously running all over the place trying to see all the animals that she could. Her favorite one of the day were the polar bears. She started jumping up and down and laughing with excitement. I love seeing the zoo through my daughter's eyes. Such an amazing feeling as a mom. Once we all were tired we headed home for a rest. Grandma and Papa went to pick up Great Nana and Great Papa to bring them over for a BBQ. We filled Alexis' pool up for her to swim in and she had a blast! She brought her babies in for a swim and relaxed in her chair with Daddy too. We cooked up some yummy hamburgers and hot dogs and sides. For dessert Grandma made homemade ice cream. Wow!! It was delicious! We enjoyed chatting and family time. What wonderful day!
