Big Girl Bedroom

In April we will be adding a new member to our family, so we thought we need to get Alexis a new bedroom set since we need her furniture for the baby. Matt and I went out shopping the day after Thanksgiving and found a great deal at Ashley's furniture. So we decided we would make the big change during the week Matt was off work. When Matt was taking apart Alexis' crib I do admit I started to cry. I can't belive our little girl will be 3 in Feburary! I was worried how Alexis would do with change, but she did pretty well. The only hard part was when I put some stuffed animals in the new baby's room Alexis said no and brought them back to her room. Well we knew this would happen and it's only natural for her to act like that. Once she saw her new bed she was super excited!! She has slept great in it every night and I think she loves the space since she is a wiggle worm during the night. We can't wait to start on Baby Kaylee's room in a few weeks!!

Alexis' new big girl bed is all done!!! We are going to decorate the room in horses and my friend is going to paint some horses on the walls.
