Christmas Eve 2010

So on Christmas Eve we had our usual family tradition. We met at Great Grandma and Great Grandpa's (Michele's Dad's parents) their plot to place luminarias out to remember them. We have done this every Christmas Eve since they passed away. We love doing it because they meant so much to our family and we will never forget them. After we finished there we went to Grandma and Papa's for some yummy Mexican food. Great Nana and Papa Papa (is what Alexis calls Papa) came over too. After we ate dinner we opened our traditional presents. We always get PJ's and now we have added the tradition of Alexis gets a Christmas book. This year she got two set of PJs, Christmas PJ's from Mommy and Daddy and Princess ones from Grandma and Papa. The book she got was The Grinch Who Stole Christmas. She loved carrying around her PJ's more than wearing them. Once we were done with presents we went and saw the Bugg lights at a local school. The Bugg lights use to be in the Bugg's Family front yard and when Michele was little we would always drive by the house to see the lights. And now they are spread out at a local school and you are able to walk through them. Alexis really loved seeing all the fun characters singing and dancing. Her favorite part was playing in the train. Finally we went and drove around the city looking at Christmas lights. Alexis loved checking out the cool lights on all the houses. She really got into how Christmas works this year. It will only get better from here on out.
