With my brother getting married we thought we would go out to visit a week before the wedding. We left Monday, August 29th and headed to the East Coast for a much needed vacation. The night we got there we went to dinner by the water and it was wonderful seafood!! Alexis loved watching the tug boats come in from the ocean. On Tuesday we took Alexis to the beach and drove around the Hamptons. Wow there were some gorgeous houses! On Wednesday we went to an Animal Kingdom/Zoo. Alexis had a blast feeding the deer and goats and checking out all the animals. She even got to ride some rides in the carnival area. Thursday we headed up to Bar Harbor, Maine for the night. My brother use to run the Harborside Hotel so we wanted to visit the town again since we hadn't been there for a few years. If you have never been to Bar Harbor you need to make a trip in the summer. It is such a fun little town to walk around and shop in. Friday we headed to the Samoset Resort where my brother's wedding was going to be. Once we arrived Alexis headed straight to the pool and hung out there all afternoon. Saturday was another day spent by the pool while the guys golfed. We had rehearsal later that night and a yummy BBQ dinner. Sunday Alexis and I headed downstairs to get our hair done for the big day!! Alexis loved being a princess for the day. At 3:00 the wedding began! The weather was perfect! We danced all night long at the reception. We had such a wonderful time on our trip to the East Coast. We hope to go back soon!!
