Easter 2012

Easter this year was so exciting for Alexis. We started off the holiday weekend with coloring eggs with Grandma, Papa, Oma and Opa at our house. This has become a tradition for us we have the grandparents over for pizza and color Easter eggs together. Alexis could have colored eggs for hours!! By the time we were done she has so many different colored eggs. I was excited to try out an idea I got from Pinterest which was putting the egg in a whisk for coloring. It worked out perfect!!

 Check out my egg!! The whisk made things less messy that's until Alexis decided to start coloring the eggs using her hands. That's what being a kid is about right?!

During Christmas time Alexis wasn't too sure about Santa so when Easter came around I didn't konw how she would do. Papa has the Easter bunny visit for pictures with the kids so we decided to go since it was free!! Caelum, Alexis' best friend, joined us for some fun!! This is the closest Alexis would get to the Easter bunny. I can't complain I didn't even think she would sit by him. Thank you Caelum for protecting your friend Alexis. 

Easter morning and checking out her basket the Easter bunny brought her. The night before Alexis left out some carrots for the Easter bunny so she was very excited to see if he ate them. Silly bunny left one carrot and Alexis thought it was funny he didn't eat them all.

 Easter egg hunting in the backyard. The Easter bunny did a great job hiding those eggs. Alexis thought it was funny to find the eggs in silly places in the yard. I love that she totally gets into the holidays now.
