Christmas morning Mommy and Daddy had to wake our little girl up. I guess we better take advantage of her sleeping in on Christmas because there will come a time when she wakes us up at 5am. Once we got her up we headed downstairs to see what Santa had brought. We first had to check and see if Santa had ate the cookie and his reindeer had ate the carrots Alexis had left for them. She was very happy to see they were gone and Santa had left a thank you letter for her. We then got started on opening presents. Alexis wanted to open the presents from Santa first to see if he had brought her a big horse that she has been asking him for. The last present she opened from Santa was a horse!!!! She screamed with excitement and we had to open it right away so she could play with it. We moved onto the presents from Mommy and Daddy. Alexis really got into the Christmas spirit this year. We had a blast!! After presents we had to get ready for the day because everyone was going to come over for Christmas dinner.

We were planing to Skype Michele's brother and sister in law at 1:00 to open presents with them since they are in New Hampshire. At 1:00 my brother calls me to tell me they are ready to Skype and I told him I was getting my computer ready so give me 5 mins. As I was getting everyone ready to Skype them the door bell rings. Alexis yelled "Who's that?" We were waiting for Matt's brother and sister in law to show up so I told Alexis "I bet it is Uncle James and Aunt Amanda". So when I opened the door I was wrong. It was my brother, Uncle Chris and his wife Aunt Liz, they had traveled from New Hampshire. I could not believe my eyes!! I screamed so loud that everyone came running to the door to see what was wrong. I started to cry along with everyone else. There was not a dry eye in the house!! They have had this trip planned since October and kept the secret from everyone in the family. This was the best Christmas present EVER!!
