Pumpkin Carving

Another Fall tradition we have is carving pumpkins as a family. We invited Oma, Opa and Grandma and Papa (Little Uncle if he is off work) over to dinner and to carve/paint pumpkins.
Oma and Opa were in charge of bringing dessert and when they showed up with this yummy spider cake Alexis was so happy! Can you tell by her big smile?
I didn't want to cut up this cake and serve it because it was too cute!
A couple last pictures of the girls by the big pumpkin before we carve it.
Kaylee chilling on the pumpkin.
Such a big girl standing.
Family photo in our Halloween attire.
Sisters forever!
Kaylee ready to paint her little pumpkin.
Or maybe she wants to carve the big pumpkin.
Papa, Grandma and the girls before we got started on the pumpkins.
Oma, Opa and the girls getting ready to carve/paint the pumpkins.
Family picture. Kaylee was being shy and wanted to block her sisters face with her paci. Let's try this again.
Now that's a better family picture.
Kaylee is ready to paint. She has paint brush in hand.
Alexis busy at work painting her pumpkin.
It's a family affair! Everyone is working hard. Mommy is behind the camera.
Daddy scooping out the seeds. Grandma's job was to cook them! She makes great pumpkin seeds!
"EEWW!" is what Alexis kept saying.
Kaylee is starting to get tired.
I don't think there was one orange spot showing when Alexis was done with this. She is a perfectionist.
Love my baby girl!! Can't believe it's her first Halloween.
Opa helping Alexis paint the bottom of her pumpkin.
Daddy started to carve his big pumpkin.
Alexis and Opa got in a paint fight. Alexis thought it was funny when Opa painted her face. We are so blessed to have both sets of grandparents in town.
Matt's final product!! Great job Daddy!
